Tais & Matt : "Only For You"

There is something special about September. Apart from June, my birth month, September is right there as my next favorite thirty day stretch. The weather is just right. You’re getting nearer to the holiday seasons. And saying goodbye to the summer heat madness. Always so much to look forward to.

This year the sprinkles on my September were Tais and Matt. Now Mr and Mrs Gold. We had been planning for this big day for almost a year. My favorite thing about the both of them was how calm and laid back they were throughout. We got along right from the jump and that led this to being such a fun process and more importantly, smooth and stress free. As always with a wedding day and so much going on, you have to stay in the zone and make sure you stay on track. There are always things that come up but this time around we managed to stay the course. We spent the morning at Bam Beauty Bar in uptown Dallas, where the ladies left looking stunningly gorgeous. The Ceremony was at the beautiful Saint Philopateer Coptic Orthodox Church. We brought in the reception at the brand new D’vine Grace Vineyards and Events venue. All the perfect recipe to what ended up being an incredible day.

I chose to start this reel with the image above because this was right in the middle of the wedding day. Even after a full first half day, they were ready to conquer the next half. This image was one of the first when we arrived at the reception and had a few moments alone on the balcony. It was the first time I got to take a deep breath and hang out with the new couple alone. I always treasure those moments. This one was precious indeed.
